CommEngine by GuardKnox is a high-performance, single-chip communication routing solution designed for automotive applications. It implements Zonal Gateway functionality for automotive E/E topologies, offering ultra-fast multi-protocol switching and routing. CommEngine is a cost-effective hardware solution that supports all automotive communication interfaces, performing communication switching and routing in hardware for fast speeds. It provides edge-processing capabilities and a wide spectrum of AUTOSAR routing capabilities, including GuardKnox's Secure Communication Lockdown Core. CommEngine addresses latency issues in centralized E/E Architectures where messages need to pass through domain or zonal gateways and HPCs. It enables high-performance and cost-effective data routing, available as a highly integrated IP Core, on FPGA or ASIC. The secure-by-design routing technology of CommEngine enables deterministic ultra-low latency with multi-gigabit bandwidth for seamless communication among all ECUs in a vehicle.
