CloudRay-vTAP by Niagara Networks is a software solution that provides complete visibility of VM traffic in virtual computing environments, including Private, Public, or Hybrid clouds. It enables 100% visibility of virtual network traffic for superior monitoring capabilities in private, hybrid, and public clouds. Traditional monitoring tools struggle with traffic visibility in data center and cloud environments. CloudRay-vTAP works with Niagara’s existing physical network TAP solutions, supporting hybrid networking environments with both physical and virtual components. It supports high-performance VM traffic up to 10Gbs and advanced traffic filtering and packet slicing. It also supports VLAN, VXLAN, and GRE tunneling, and is compatible with KVM, VMware ESXi, NSX, and Microsoft Hyper-V. Additionally, it supports Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, and Google GCP cloud services, as well as VMware vSS, vVDS, and OpenvSwitch (OVS). CloudRay-vTAP features a single pane of glass-based management for operational simplicity and control with a dashboard for orchestration and monitoring.
