Cloudmark Authority is a content filtering service that processes telemetry data associated with email, SMS, MMS, and RCS messaging, including email addresses, IP addresses, and phone numbers. The service uses intelligent threat analysis to provide messaging security against spam and malware. It employs content filtering and fingerprinting to block threats across messaging streams and receives threat intelligence updates every 15 seconds from the Cloudmark Global Threat Network. The service provides active filtering and classification based on known email fingerprints and offers format and content agnostic detection capabilities for spam, fraud, phishing and virus attacks across email, SMS messages, MMS messages or binary attachments. Cloudmark Authority includes policy-based traffic control and monitoring, enabling operators to specify routing actions for messages that match policies, including Protocol Control Policy, Content Control Policy and Subscriber Control Policies.
