cloudAshur by iStorage is a hardware security module designed to securely store, share, and manage data in cloud environments. It encrypts data on network drives, local PCs/MACs, email attachments, and file sharing services. cloudAshur addresses security vulnerabilities in cloud platforms, including lack of control, unauthorized access, and human error. cloudAshur incorporates technology from other iStorage products certified to high government standards like FIPS 140-2 Level 3, securely storing and protecting the encrypted encryption key. To decrypt data stored in the cloud, on a network drive, or on a local PC/MAC, the user must complete a 5-factor authentication process.
