Mitigant Cloud Attack Emulation is a security testing solution designed to validate cloud infrastructure defenses by executing controlled, simulated cyberattacks. The platform emulates adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) from frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and ATLAS across AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes environments. It supports both atomic attack actions and multi-step attack scenarios to validate threat detection tools, SIEM configurations, and incident response readiness without affecting production resources.
The solution features an Attack Builder for creating custom attacks as code with a live YAML preview, enabling integration into CI/CD pipelines. Safe execution is facilitated through isolated environments with automatic resource cleanup, attack previews, and granular permission controls managed via IAM roles or AWS CloudFormation. After an emulation, the platform generates attack reports, remediation guidance including step-by-step fix instructions, and corresponding Sigma detection rules.
