Clavis300 Quantum Cryptography Platform by ID Quantique is a modular cryptographic solution designed for testing quantum cryptography in various network configurations, such as point-to-point or with relay nodes. It integrates Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and LEA encryption, ensuring secure key exchange over optical fibre networks. Clavis300 generates and distributes keys at a secure key bit generation rate of over 10 kb/s at 10 dB link loss. The standard system supports a maximum link loss of 18 dB, approximately 70 km in distance, depending on fibre quality, while a premium system can handle up to 24 dB loss. The key refresh rate is adjustable by an administrator. Clavis300 can include high-speed LEA encryptor blades in its chassis, allowing for both a QKD system and link encryptors. Additional chassis can be paired to host more encryption blades. The encryptor uses Korean LEA (Light Encryption Algorithm) ciphers, enabling a 4×10 Gbps encryption rate with less than 10 microseconds latency. It is designed for securing access to data at rest and protecting data in transit on backbone and access networks, as well as for data centers interconnect and disaster recovery.
