Clavis XG QKD System by ID Quantique is designed for production environments requiring high key transmission rates or extended range interconnections. It securely distributes cryptographic keys generated by Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNG) to different locations, ensuring long-term confidentiality and integrity. Clavis XG QKD System exploits the principle of quantum physics where observation causes perturbation, providing provable security for cryptographic key exchanges over fiber optic networks. It is suitable for complex, large-scale deployments in enterprise, government, and telco environments, and can be deployed in various network configurations such as point-to-point, relay, ring, or star topologies. The system is designed for uninterrupted, long-term operation with high availability services. It features a compact 19’’ rackmount 1U size, hot-swappable power supplies, cooling fans, and batteries for high availability operation. Clavis XG QKD System interfaces with major encryptor vendors offering QKD-ready interfaces in their encryption appliances and is compatible with Dense-Wavelength-Division-Multiplexing (DWDM) optical channels. The system integrates with IDQ’s QKD management and monitoring framework, including the Clarion KX software suite and Quantum Management System (QNET QMS), ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure. The QMS provides a comprehensive understanding of QKD network operations, configuration changes, and network health monitoring. The system also includes a QKD Simulator for virtual environment simulation of complex QKD networks, enabling efficient deployments and maintenance.
