CardinalOps is a detection engineering co-pilot platform designed to maximize the effectiveness of existing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and IBM QRadar. It uses automation, artificial intelligence, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework to continuously assess detection posture, eliminate coverage gaps, and optimize SIEM performance. The platform integrates with various SIEM/XDR solutions via APIs, typically taking less than an hour to set up. CardinalOps focuses on identifying and fixing broken rules, minimizing noisy detections, and operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK in Security Operations Centers (SOCs). It addresses challenges faced by detection engineering teams, including the lack of automated methods to identify and fix broken rules that may lead to security gaps. The platform is SOC-2 certified and keeps sensitive log data within the SIEM.
