Myota's bucketZero Platform is a software-defined cyber storage solution designed for data security, availability, and recovery. It utilizes Shard and Spread™ technology to encrypt, shard, and distribute data across multiple storage nodes. The platform integrates quantum-proof encryption methods with flexible data storage strategies, employing a data encryption chain and an immutable striping method. It splits files into chunks, encrypts them with randomly generated keys, and encodes them into immutable data shards. These shards are then stored across multiple storage nodes with double parity, similar to RAID 6 but with enhanced security. The platform can function even if multiple storage nodes fail, with a self-healing process that automatically provisions new nodes and redistributes parity shards.
