It offers web content category filtering to block millions of sites easily. Policies travel with devices, ensuring security off-network. BrowseControl provides alternatives for blocking websites, offering essential endpoint security management features, including blocking known malicious websites. It includes category-based filtering to block access to known malicious websites. BrowseControl’s client agent tracks the list of websites and apps to block for each group of users or computers, ensuring it blocks across all managed devices. The software can block specific websites and applications and add or remove restrictions instantly. It is compatible with other proxy servers on your network and can be deployed on-premises or on a cloud platform. The client agent installed on computers can block these websites without a connection to the CurrentWare Server, enforcing BrowseControl’s restriction policies locally. The last known policies remain in effect even if the endpoint loses connection to the network. BrowseControl is supported on desktop computers, virtual machines (VMs), and servers running modern versions of Windows. It is a Citrix Ready partner; all solutions are compatible with Citrix. BrowseControl Clients can be installed on Citrix Workspace running Windows. All BrowseControl components are compatible with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or Terminal Servers (TS). When restricting the web in Citrix with BrowseControl, you can block a site in PC Mode for individual virtual machines or in User Mode for specific employees across multiple devices. In a Terminal Services environment, the server is registered as an individual endpoint; to apply granular policies for each user, department, or Organizational Unit, use User Mode.
