The BM-Lite module is a fully integrated biometric solution that combines a fingerprint sensor, processor, biometric software, and storage into one compact module. The module contains embedded hardware, software, and algorithms. It features an embedded fingerprint processor with local match engine, a capacitive sensor with anti-spoofing algorithms, and storage for up to 50 enrolled fingerprint templates on the device. The module has low power consumption, instant wake-on-touch functionality, and SPI and UART communication interfaces. All biometric algorithms are embedded in the module. The module is designed for applications requiring fingerprint authentication without complex integration or external processors. It is used in smart locks, safes, access terminals, and IoT products that require local match and template storage for standalone operation.
