Precise BioMatch Card by Precise Biometrics provides secure fingerprint recognition in smart cards. It offers convenient and secure identity authentication with industry-leading biometric performance. It is optimized for matching fingerprints in constrained computing environments such as Secure Elements. Precise BioMatch Card includes a matcher for Secure Element (SE), a secure processor chip used on biometric smart cards that provides strong protection against fraud. It supports fingerprint sensors with an area down to 30 mm2 and has been deployed in trials, including the first contactless biometric payment card from AirPlus International and a pilot project in the USA with Visa and Mountain America Credit Union. The modular design offers flexibility to optimize and select functionality based on implementation requirements. It is possible to split the algorithm into extracting and matching, with sensitive matching executed in a Secure Element. The algorithm solution is based on Precise Biometrics’ experience in developing algorithms for small sensors and constrained environments.
