Bastille Sensor Arrays by Bastille are advanced Software Defined Radio (SDR) sensor arrays designed to detect and monitor wireless devices and networks. They are 100% passive, meaning they do not transmit any signals and comply with FCC standards. Bastille Sensor Arrays are capable of detecting signals from 25 MHz to 6 GHz and include dual SDR receiver front ends sampling at 61.44 MSps. They feature two scanning 802.11ax Wi-Fi receivers, a system processor, and an FPGA for protocol decoding and signal interpretation. These arrays are designed for continuous monitoring of wireless traffic, utilizing on-board processing to interpret and consolidate information before transmitting it to the Bastille Concentrator. The Concentrator then optimizes the data, performs location calculations from multiple Sensor Arrays, and crafts events sent to the Fusion Center for notification, reporting, storage, and API-based integrations. Bastille Sensor Arrays are available in both Standard and Ruggedized versions, with the latter being suitable for hostile environments. They have no moving parts and are passively cooled via heatsinks. The arrays can be mounted in any orientation and require external antennas for appropriate reach and coverage. Power is supplied via Power-over-Ethernet or DC power input, with a single cable to a POE+ capable switch recommended for ethernet connectivity. The arrays leverage field programmable SDRs and FPGAs for in-place upgrades, allowing updates to device security, protocol demodulation, or RF detection capabilities without physical access to the enclosure.
