AutoCrypt PnC is a cybersecurity solution that protects electric vehicles and their supply equipment during the Plug&Charge process. Plug&Charge is a vehicle charging technology defined in the V2G standard that allows vehicles and chargers to verify each other's identity for seamless charging and billing. The solution consists of a secure communication module and PKI-based certificate management for OEMs, charger manufacturers, charging point operators, and mobility operators. It uses PKI technology to verify the identities of both the vehicle and the charger, ensuring safe exchange of information. The system supports Open Charge Point Protocol and verifies the contract between the charging station management system and the mobility operator before delivering power to the vehicle. AutoCrypt PnC utilizes authentication, authorization, and encryption technologies to establish secured communications between participants in the grid, protecting personal and financial information of EV owners, ensuring proper functioning of charging and transaction processes by guaranteeing data integrity, and protecting energy users by safeguarding power grids from intrusions.
