AutoCrypt PKI is a public key infrastructure system designed for the automotive ecosystem. The technology provides asymmetric end-to-end encryption for user authentication and message encryption. In manufacturing environments, it generates cryptographic keys and manages access control for individual electronic control units and vehicle components. The system enables anonymous two-way authentication during vehicle-to-everything communication and supports Plug and Charge functionality for electric vehicle charging. AutoCrypt PKI includes specialized components for different automotive applications: V2X-PKI handles vehicle-to-everything communications, PnC manages secure vehicle identification and encrypted data exchange for charging and payment processes, KEY provides production key generation and management for vehicle components, and MOVE Fleet offers fleet management capabilities with encrypted data collection and secure remote control functions. The system addresses the security requirements of interconnected automotive networks by establishing cryptographic trust between different parties in the automotive ecosystem.
