AutoCrypt KEY is a cryptographic key management solution designed for automotive manufacturing processes. It manages the complete lifecycle of cryptographic keys, including generation, storage, and distribution. The solution enables OEMs and suppliers to manage cryptographic keys used in connected and electric vehicle components. Modern vehicles rely on communications between ECUs and application processors, as well as external connections with other vehicles, roadside infrastructure, mobile devices, and charging stations. Cryptographic keys are essential for encrypting transmitted data and verifying connected components to establish trust between vehicle hardware, users, and services. The system includes automated logging of key generation and usage history, certificate-based authentication, certificate distribution capabilities, and storage through hardware security modules.
