AutoCrypt IDS is a vehicular intrusion detection solution that detects, filters, and prevents cyberattacks against in-vehicle systems. The system consists of an IdsM (Intrusion Detection System Manager) that evaluates detected security events and sends qualified cases to the IdsR (Intrusion Detection System Reporter), which reports them to the vSOC. The solution includes an N-IDPS and an H-IDPS, complemented by event reporting, automated policy generation and simulation capabilities. It monitors communications within the vehicle and responds to abnormal or malicious activities using a proprietary Security Sensor. The system detects anomalies in the system and network and reports security events to the IdsM. The IdsR reports newly discovered security incidents to the Policy Manager, which utilizes data from DBC files to automatically generate, simulate, and apply new policies to the Security Sensor. The solution offers architectural integration for both AUTOSAR and legacy environments, applicable in traditional microcontrollers and application processors. The system ensures its Security Sensor remains updated with current attack patterns and threats.
