AutoCrypt HSM is a software module that integrates hardware security module functionality into the AUTOSAR environment for secure ECU access and in-vehicle communications. The module contains cryptographic capabilities for key generation, encryption, decryption, and authentication to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or manipulation. It includes security features such as Secure Access for preventing unauthorized application access to vehicle data, Secure Flash for HSM firmware updates, and Secure Boot for firmware integrity verification. The module provides cryptographic algorithms and key management along with memory protection, memory lock, and runtime manipulation detection capabilities. It supports both AUTOSAR Classic and legacy environments and includes a proprietary FBL Manager and Crypto Driver software stack implemented according to AUTOSAR Classic Platform specifications. The module is compatible with major automotive semiconductors and integrates with other AUTOSAR software components.
