AutoCrypt ASL is an adaptive security library designed for the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform that provides security for high-performance ECUs including in-vehicle application servers, infotainment systems, and ADAS. The software solution covers intrusion detection and mitigation, identity and access management, cryptographic functions, and firewall capabilities. The firewall component performs adaptive and logic-based traffic filtering and packet inspection to protect vehicle internal systems from external threats. The intrusion detection system identifies anomalies and records them as incidents before sending them to the vehicle security operations center. The cryptographic functions enable key generation, encryption, decryption, and authentication to prevent unauthorized access or manipulation of sensitive data. The identity and access management component controls access to ECUs and prevents unauthorized applications and external threats from accessing sensitive data within the ECUs. AutoCrypt ASL contains security components, protocols, and mechanisms for the AUTOSAR framework and can be integrated with AutoCrypt TEE and AutoCrypt HSM to provide additional security features for application processors and microcontrollers.
