Array Erase is an enterprise-grade data sanitization software designed for data center decommissioning and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) operations. Controlled by an array server or host, the platform enables the simultaneous erasure of up to 256 individual loose drives, direct-attached storage (DAS), and entire Storage Area Network (SAN) cabinets. It processes both hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid-state drives (SSDs) across a wide range of interfaces, including ATA, eMMC, Fibre Channel, IDE, NVMe, RAID, SAS, SATA, and SCSI.
The software operates seamlessly in high-throughput production environments with support for drive hot-swapping and offline operation. Array Erase incorporates S.M.A.R.T. monitoring to assess real-time drive health and executes over 15 recognized data erasure patterns. Upon completion, it automatically generates tamper-proof, digitally signed certificates and customizable reports to ensure adherence to stringent global data privacy and environmental standards.
