ARCA Trusted OS by CYSEC is a hardened Linux-based operating system designed to provide a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) for containerized applications. It is optimized to run containers with Kubernetes, ensuring the protection of keys, data, and code at rest, in transit, and in use. ARCA Trusted OS addresses security challenges in environments that organizations do not own or control, such as public clouds, private clouds, and edge computing infrastructures. It follows NIST SP 800-190 guidelines for container security, offering various security features to limit system intrusion and protect data. ARCA Trusted OS includes a secure boot chain that authenticates and verifies the integrity of the system at each boot, ensuring that the device boots using only trusted software. It also supports full disk encryption, hardware-based secure storage for encryption keys, and an immutable root file system. The operating system is designed to contain attack propagation and avoid data compromission, making it suitable for deployment in data centers, clouds, edge servers, and edge gateways. ARCA Trusted OS is compatible with x86 and ARM architectures, including Raspberry Pi 4B, and integrates with container management systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
