Xiphera's AES256-GCM is a cryptographic algorithm for Authenticated Encryption with Associated Data (AEAD), providing data confidentiality and authenticity. AES256-GCM implements the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) block cipher that encrypts a 128-bit block of data using a 256-bit key. AES256-GCM is symmetric, using the same key for both encryption and decryption.
