Aegis Configurator by Apricorn offers advanced feature sets, stored profile settings, multiple drive setup capability, and an intuitive user interface, making it an essential tool for device deployment. This Windows-based software quickly programs features and PINs into compatible Aegis secure devices. It recognizes compatible devices and allows Administrators to program all of Apricorn’s USB 3.0 and later security devices. Administrators can create, edit, and store master device profiles for repeat deployments, implement corporate security policy settings, pre-load files onto devices, reformat drives, and auto-generate random Admin, User, and data recovery PINs. The Configurator also allows for the management of profiles, viewing logs of profiles created in configuration history, and editing or deleting them. It supports querying devices by searching history for settings and PINs for specific devices by device type, profile name, and device serial number. The software includes a User Forced Enrollment feature that requires the User to create a unique PIN before use. It supports a data transfer rate of USB 3.0 up to 5 Gbps and requires an external 5 amp power supply. The interface is Super Speed USB 3.0 type A, which is backwards compatible with USB 2. The system requirements include Windows 7, 8, 10; a PC compatible computer with a Pentium dual core CPU or newer, a USB Port, 128MB available RAM, and 100MB available space for the program and log file. The Configurator comes with a 3-year Limited Warranty.
