Operating at Layer 3 of the OSI stack, the software monitors outbound network traffic in real-time. It utilizes artificial intelligence and behavioral analytics to identify anomalous activity, such as lateral movement or privilege escalation, operating independently of traditional signature-based detection methods. The system analyzes traffic for patterns indicative of cyberattacks or insider threats to prevent data exfiltration.
Upon detection of a threat, the solution blocks unauthorized outbound data transfers in real-time. It incorporates geo-fencing with dynamic IP and domain blocking to sever communication between a device and external command-and-control (C&C) infrastructures.
