AccessMatrix Universal Credential Manager (UCM) by i-Sprint Innovations is a next-generation Privileged Account Activity Management (PAAM) solution that includes agentless connectors, visual recording, and SSO integration. UCM offers a virtual password vault protected by HSM devices for strong authentication, allowing users to store privileged account IDs and passwords (credentials). It addresses significant auditing and operational challenges faced by enterprises in managing credentials and session activities, such as manual management of IDs and passwords, lack of tracking and control of privileged session activities, hard-coded privileged IDs and passwords in batch processes and programs, and legitimate tracking and intuitive recording of privileged access to critical servers and computing resources. UCM provides a secure method with multi-layer approval processes for managing security administrators' retrieval and storage of privileged credentials. Authorized users can check in and check out privileged credentials for daily operations or emergencies. UCM offers additional Windows RDP gateway recorders and a set of network protocol proxy modules to monitor and record privileged sessions. It supports playback of recordings and key logging for forensic analysis, as well as command access control for selected protocols. UCM enables enterprises to retrieve user IDs and passwords while running specific applications, eliminating the need to hard-code credential information in programs or command files. UCM provides two integration methods: Application API for retrieving current IDs and passwords from the UCM server, and auditing password users for command protocols like ODBC, JDBC, ADO. ID and password replacement in NET, Windows, and Unix scripts.
