Mimecast 99 Year Archive is an email archiving solution that retains inbound, outbound and internal email for up to 99 years according to centrally-managed retention policies. The system creates a central repository of corporate email data stored in a cloud-based archive with encryption and immutability features. The solution uses multiple collection points to capture email data and stores it in triplicate across geographically diverse datacenters for resilience and availability. All retained email is encrypted and stored in three separate locations to prevent tampering. The system includes search functionality that provides access to archived emails and offers integrated capabilities for retention management, email encryption, discovery and data recovery.
