The Niagara 3225 is a high-density, fully passive modular fiber TAP platform housed in a compact 1U chassis. It provides permanent, non-intrusive access to network traffic for monitoring and security tools, delivering reliable, zero-loss visibility at speeds up to 400Gb. The platform captures 100 percent of live network traffic across all supported rates and protocols, including packet errors, without introducing a point of failure or any detectable presence on the production network.
Operating completely out-of-band, the platform requires no external power and relies on a configuration-free, plug-and-play design. It accommodates up to 24 single-width or 12 double-width TAP modules, supporting up to 35 TAP links in a single deployment. By utilizing flexible LC/MPO modules and offering multiple split ratios, the 3225 ensures precise traffic mirroring at critical network junctions such as outbound traffic and East-West service flows.
